Unkan-kutsu. He was ordained under Syaku Soen. He entered the Nansyu-Ji monastery at Sakai, Osaka. Then he moved to Ken’nin-Ji monastery and Engaku-Ji monastery. Eventually, He succeeded the Dharma from Syaku Soen. He assisted Syaku Soen in his missionary work together with Syaku Sokatsu, Seigo Hogaku, D.T. Suzuki Daisetsu, and others. In 1944, He became a chief abbot of the Kokutai-Ji section.
