He brought up many outstanding Dharma heirs, Ekkei Shuken in Myoshin-ji, Tekisui Giboku in Tenryu-ji, Kosen So’on in Enkaku-ji, Koju Sotaku and Bokuju Soju in Daitoku-ji branches.
