Pen name: Kongo-kutsu. Dharma transmission from Eisen Ejun. He once became the abbot of Daisen-in, sub-temple in Daitoku-ji. He was invited to be the Zen master of Ken’nin-ji monastery in 1945 and a chief abbot of the branch in 1954. He retired the Zen master in 1980. Zen master with a talent for painting.
