Zen Rinzai. The 535th abbot of myoshin-Ji. Kensyo-Ji, Kumamoto. The Zen master of Enpuku-Ji monastery in Yawata, Kyoto. The founder of Tokugen-Ji monastery.

 

Mahakala ( Daikoku-ten ) is washing gems of buddha nature. When you see Mahakala is washing gems ( Symbol of the Buddha nature ), you have to recall you also to do for your Buddha nature.  Hanazono Sozan.

Honorific name: Shinki Myoyu Zenji. Pen name: Gao-ken, Goga-shitsu. Dharma transmission from Takuju Kosen. He also practiced Zen under Shuntaku, Gyokkan and Gessan. He became the Zen master of Kensho-ji in 1851. He moved to Enpuku-ji. He founded Tokugenji-monastery and to be the Zen master in 1862. He raised many outstanding disciples.
