Honorific name: Reikishin’ou Zenji. Pen name: Toin-shitsu, Nyakusetsu. Dharma transmission from Takuju Kosen. He also practised Zen under Shuntaku Susetsu in Gekkei-ji Oita for 3 years and moved to Soken-ji to practice under Takuju for more than 10 years. He once became the abbot of Ryufuku-ji, but he came back to practice under Takuju again. He re-founded Jikyu-an, sub-temple of Myoshin-ji.
