Text; The stability, staying in perfect goodness, when you know where it is, you can obtain stability. ( A passage of  the ” daigaku ” means the great learning  )

大學之道，在明明德，在親民，在止於至善。知止而後有定 

The way of great learning consists in manifesting one’s bright virtue, consists in loving the people, consists in stopping in perfect goodness. When you know where to stop, you have stability.

Posthumous name: Shinki-dokumyo Zenji. Pen name: Kokurin, Sarajuka-Rono. Instigator of the Rinzai Zen revival. Dharma transmission from Dokyo Etan(Shoju-Rojin). He became an abbot of Shoin-ji in Hara, Shizuoka at 33 years of age. He refounded Ryutaku-ji in Mishima in his later years. He raised many influential and outstanding disciples, Torei En’ni, Suiou Genro, Gazan Jito, etc.
