Pen name: Tsu-raiya. Dharma transmission from Tozai Emon. He named his hermitage ” Blue Cliff ” and he was called “Tora (Tiger) Butssu”, meaning very strict in practice. When he was asked a last words by students in his death, he said he didn’t have the last poem and never gave a word.
