He had a close friendship with Ryukei Syosen and Kosen Syoton. In 1680, he entered Syomyo-Ji in Shiga as the 3rd abbot of temple at the request of Gomizuno’o emperor. Syomyo-Ji is founded by Ryukei Syosen. In 1692, he resigned from managerial position of Manpuku-Ji. In 1708, retired from the Syomyo-Ji then lived in seclusion at Jyoko-Ji in Omi, Shiga.
