Data : Pen name: Konan-ken. Dharma transmission from Den’ne-shitsu Zentei Yoju. He practiced Zen under Toyoda Dokutan who was the chief abbot of Nanzen-ji. He became the abbot of Manju-ji in Matsue in 1911. He entered Daitoku-ji monastery in 1920 and practiced under Den’ne-shitsu Zentei Yoju. After then he became the abbot of Joten-ji in Fukuoka in 1929. He was selected to be the chief abbot of the Kokutai-ji branch in 1934.
